What gets reported
Exactly what we report — and what it can and can’t do.
Every BizMotus membership includes a bureau-reported business tradeline. Here’s the plain-English version of what that means, what shows up on your business file, and the honest limits of what any reported account can do.
The basics
What an installment tradeline is.
A “tradeline” is simply an account that appears on a credit file. An installment tradeline is one with a fixed amount paid down over a set term — like an auto loan, but here it’s your BizMotus membership.
When you join, your membership is set up as a fixed-term commercial account under your business EIN. Your regular monthly membership payment is the installment payment, and each on-time payment is reported to the business credit bureaus included with your plan. You’re paying for the BizMotus platform — the education and tools — and the bureau reporting is a built-in feature of that membership.
Important framing: you’re buying a business membership, not borrowing money. BizMotus does not lend funds, and the tradeline is a record of your on-time payments — not a line of credit you can draw cash from.
On your business file
What we report.
We report
- A commercial installment tradeline under your EIN
- Your on-time monthly payment history
- The account term and reported amount for your plan
- Automatic monthly updates for the life of the term
Reporting by plan
- Starter — reports to Dun & Bradstreet
- Growth — reports to Experian Business & Dun & Bradstreet
- Enterprise — reports to all major business credit bureaus
Reporting cadence and which bureaus receive your file depend on your plan. Bureaus maintain their own files and models; BizMotus controls what it submits, not how a bureau ultimately displays or scores it.
The reported amount
How the reported amount is set.
The reported amount of your tradeline scales with your plan and term — a higher monthly membership reports a larger installment account. It’s tied to what you actually pay over the term, not an arbitrary “limit.” Your exact figures are shown on the pricing page when you choose a plan.
| Example monthly | Term | Example reported tradeline |
|---|---|---|
| $14 / mo | Fixed term | ~ $504 |
| $70 / mo | Fixed term | ~ $2,520 |
Figures above are illustrative examples to show how the amount scales — not a quote. See pricing for the exact monthly, term, and reported amount of each plan.

Honest expectations
What it is — and what it isn’t.
What it is
- A real commercial installment account under your EIN
- On-time payment history, reported automatically each month
- One input into your business file among many
- A feature of a membership you also use for tools and education
What it isn’t
- A loan, cash advance, or line of credit you can draw from
- A personal credit product or anything tied to your SSN
- A guarantee of any score, rating, approval, or funding
- A shortcut — results depend on how you run your business
Business credit profiles are built over time and depend on many factors outside any single account — how you operate, your other vendor and banking relationships, and each bureau’s own models. A reported tradeline is one honest input, not a guaranteed result. BizMotus does not lend money and does not guarantee any score, rating, approval, or financing outcome. This page is general business information, not legal, tax, or financial advice.
